Documented immigrants are eligible for some public benefits, depending on factors such as immigration status and age. If your household includes any family member born in the United States that can make you eligible for some supports.
Making Ends Meet
Are you having trouble paying for basic needs like rent, mortgage, utilities, food or medicine? You may be eligible for: general assistance, TANF, Unemployment Insurance Benefits, State-funded SSI, and Tax Credits.
Other Supports
If you have low income you may be eligible for other supports to help meet your basic needs.
